Sharing sociological enlightenment & revolutionary thoughts, one conversation at a time.

As I was swimming in the beach with some friends,
I came to a realization that my greatest fear wasn’t death,
It wasn’t heights,
Nor was it spiders.
My greatest fear was drowning.

I was told that we are made of at least 60% water.
Time after time,
After holding in all of my tears,
All the emotions I was told to not show,
All the times people tell me to “man up”
60% seems like it’s 1,000%.
I’m overflowing with emotions and it feels like I’m drowning;
And society is not willing throw that life preserver.
